Itinerary
Day 1: ARRIVAL AT LAKE BLED 4* hotel.
Bled, situated on the shore of a beautiful glacial lake with its distinctive island church and towering alpine mountain backdrop, all guarded by the imposing clifftop castle, is one of Slovenia’s most popular tourist attractions. Spend your first day visiting the island church and the ornate golden altar, ring the church bell and make a wish, it might come true. Then head over to the western side and hike up to Mala Osojnica for the best view of all.
Day 2: BLED – VINTGAR GORGE - RADOVLJICA – BLED (↔ 36 km, ↑↓ 550 m)
A warm-up biking trip will take you through the beautiful Vintgar Gorge, along the Radovna River as it thunders its way through the mountains and ends with the Sum Waterfall. You can have lunch in the beautifully preserved old town of Radovljica with its interesting beekeeping museum and even better - delicious gelato ice cream shop...
Day 3: BLED – RADOVNA VALLEY - POKLJUKA – BOHINJ (↔ 72 km, ↑↓ 1.620 m)
The day begins with a peaceful ascent along tranquil forest roads leading to the Pokljuka plateau. The first highlight of the day will be the idyllic Zajamniki alpine pasture, where Bohinj farmers graze their livestock during the summer. The view of the shepherd's huts surrounded by a crown of mountains is truly inspiring. After circling through both Bohinj valleys, you will return to Bled via the splendid new cycling path along the deep green Sava River.
Day 4: BLED – ST PETER – KARAVANKE RANGE – BLED (↔ 40 km, ↑↓ 1.390 m)
A Day of Three Climbs! The first, and easiest, takes you to the scenic viewpoint at the Church of St. Catherine above Bled. The second ascent leads you to the foothills of the Black Mountains – the Karavanks. After a refreshment at a mountain hut, you’ll climb up to St. Peter, a defensive church dating back to the time of Turkish invasions. You can enjoy a final drink in Begunje, the hometown of the famous Alpine musicians.
Day 5: BLED - JELOVICA HIGH PLATEAU (↔ 55 km, ↑↓ 1.140 m)
Today you bike up to the beautiful dense pine forest of Jelovica Plateau, situated on the south side of Bled. The route takes you upwards alongside the Sava River. We recommend you have lunch at Talež mountain hut, where you'll be guaranteed a fantastic view across to the Karavanke mountain range. In the afternoon a leisurely ride over a quiet, peaceful forest road, will bring you back to Bled.
Day 6: BLED – RCITNO - SLAMNIKI (↔ 26 km, ↑↓ 1.060 m)
A day for a challenging mountain ride that even the locals don’t fully know! This route is a mix of mountain and forest roads, trails, and the occasional single track, guiding you along the southern edges of the Pokljuka plateau. You'll pedal in peace and quiet through deep forests, crossing mountain meadows and pastures.
Day 7: DEPARTURE
After breakfast your tour ends or you can prolong your stay or continue cycling. There are two tours starting from Bled: Lakes & Cities and Best Of Slovenia.

Price per person based on two people sharing:
Season A: 29.3. to 6.6. and 22.9. to 11.10.2025 835 EUR
Season B: 7.6. to 21.9.2025 890 EUR
Date of Day 1 sets the trip's season.
Price includes:
• Six nights accommodation in 4* hotel in a two-bed room with WC and shower, on a bed & breakfast basis

Optional extras:
• Single room season A: 460 EUR; season B: 545 EUR; applies when a person is traveling together with other persons in a party
• Standard MTB bike rental 110 EUR. Bikes have 24 gears. Included are: one pannier per bike, helmet. One repair set per pair of bikes – includes: one long lock, one spare inner tube, one set of Allen keys, tire levers and a basic puncture patch set. Every additional rental day: 25 EUR per bike. Bike rental period starts 9:00 of day 2 of the tour and ends at 18:00 of day 6.
• Electric MTB bike rental 220 EUR. Every additional day 50 EUR
• Printed information package in English or German, including route notes and detailed maps, delivered upon arrival - 30 EUR

Sportive - for riders who go on longer day tours at home, cycle to the neighboring town and have a solid physical condition. The terrain can be hilly and even if there are several ascents between the stage towns. Average daily elevation gains exceed 1.000 meters.

Getting there...
By plane: closest airport is Ljubljana (LJU). Several airlines serve it. From the airport you can travel to Bled by bus (change once, takes about two hrs) or book our transfer from Ljubljana Airport to Bled (faster - 20 min).
By train: Bled has two railway stations: Lesce-Bled station on the Villach - Ljubljana mainline, 4 km away from town center. You'll need to take a bus to Bled center. The other station is Bled-Jezero on the Jesenice - Nova Gorica sideline, only a few trains a day. 2 km away from town center.
By car: take exit Lesce from A1 motorway Ljubljana - Jesenice, Karavanke.
